Housing Pressures in South Worcestershire — What the Data Tells Us
Citizens Advice South Worcestershire is an independent charity operating as part of the Citizens Advice Network.
Our advice is always free, independent, confidential and impartial. We give people the knowledge they need to find their way forward - whoever they are and whatever their problem.
We campaign on behalf of people to make societal changes that benefit everyone.
Citizens Advice South Worcestershire was incorporated as a limited company in 2011. We operate across the whole of the Malvern Hills and Wychavon District areas, providing local services to local people.
We provide the advice people need for the problems they face. We also improve the policies and practices that adversely affect people’s lives.
We have a Senior Management Team supporting a wider team of 30 paid staff and around 85 volunteers who are all passionate about delivering a high quality service in their local community.
We use this to do several things:
Our local advice centres analyse the needs and issues our clients are facing and are able to identify when policies or practices become unfair.
The evidence we collate provides information not only to our local authorities but also nationally to Citizens Advice. It is this vital information that is used to support any long-term policy changes.
Any evidence we gather is used anonymously.
Our latest piece of Research and Campaigns work in relation to Disability Benefit can be found here.
Every year we produce an annual review to showcase the impact and achievements that we have demonstrated in the last 12 months.
We use this information to spread the word about the work that we do with stakeholders, partners, funders and the wider public.
